A blockchain is a permanent public database stored on a distributed network of computers. That means once data is added to the blockchain it can never be changed or removed.
As time passes, new transactions and network data are grouped into blocks, encrypted, and linked to previous blocks in the database.
If you visualize a series of blocks linked together, you can see why they call it a "blockchain".
An NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a verifiably scarce digital asset.
NFTs can be bought, sold, and collected like virtual art, land or trading cards.
NFTs can also represent the digital identity of a person or an item on a blockchain, like a virtual membership card or ownership document.
The New School NFTs will be on the Stacks blockchain.
Stacks is an open-source, layer-1 blockchain network that leverages the security and capital of Bitcoin by linkage through a consensus mechanism that spans the two chains for decentralized apps and smart contracts.
